Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I view the tutorial after I receive it?
It is in PDF format, you will need the PDF Reader from Adobe to open and view the tutorial. You can download Adobe Reader here.

Are these molds for cold process, hot process or melt and pour soaps?
Our wooden soap molds are made for cold process soaps ONLY! Cold process soapmaking requires the soap mixture to saponify for about 24 hours before it can be removed from the mold and cut into bars for curing. Because of the high temperature that is created during the saponification process, wood is used for these soap molds.

What tools are required to make wooden soap molds?
Basic tools include a power drill, drill bit set, ruler, countersinking bit (optional), and sanding block.

What size ranges of soap molds can I make?
I give dimensions and measurement for making any size soap mold from 2-pound to 10-pound, in 1 pound increments.

Do you describe the soapmaking process and how to make soap?
I assume the reader is an experienced cold process soapmaker and has the knowledge of making soap and creating recipes. No soapmaking instructions are included in the tutorial which allows me to keep costs down and offer this tutorial at such a low price.
